This site catalogs the various anti-war initiatives that have gone offline since the rise of the Web in the mid-1990s. There are thousands of projects that were started in opposition to wars in Iraq, Yugoslavia, Afghanistan, and elsewhere. But these online media projects have tended to be unfunded and temporary. Anti War 404 solicits public participation to record some of the fading history of this period by describing the former contents of missing sites.
