Chico PeaceWorks was an action committee which worked closely with the Chico Peace and Justice Center, which continues to maintain a web presence using chico-peace.org. The site's greeting message stated:
Since Sept 11, we have sponsored peace rallies, purchased a full page ad in the local newspaper calling for peace, presented education forums, distributed bumper stickers, collected hundreds of blankets for Afghan refugees, written letters to governmental representatives, and networked with other peace groups.
